Employer FAQs
Answers to common questions about posting jobs and evaluating candidates on RankGrad.
How do AI-powered screening tests work?
When you create a job posting, you can design and attach your own tailored screening test. When candidates apply, they take this test under our automated proctoring. Our AI matches the candidate's verified skills against your job requirements, evaluates their answers on the screening test (matching MCQs and analyzing code submissions), and applies a custom formula to generate a comprehensive final score based on both their test performance and skill match. This allows you to quickly identify the top technical talent.
How do I know candidates aren't cheating?
Our platform utilizes client-side proctoring that actively monitors the candidate's webcam and microphone during the assessment. It flags suspicious behavior, such as multiple faces appearing in the frame, the candidate's face disappearing entirely, or sustained background voices. We also monitor browser tab changes and window focus (requiring maximized screens), and apply a blurring effect if the candidate clicks out of the test window. These flags are summarized in the candidate's application view so you can review test integrity before moving forward.
How much does it cost to post a job?
We offer flexible plans tailored for companies of all sizes, including our Starter, Growth, and Custom Enterprise tiers. Each tier provides different limits on job postings, team seats, and premium visibility options. You can view the full details and compare our company plans on our pricing page.
How long does payment confirmation take?
Currently, our platform utilizes a manual payment verification process. After you upload your payment receipt for a premium posting or subscription, our team will review and confirm it within 24-48 hours. Your premium features will activate immediately upon confirmation.
What is my role in HEC compliance tracking?
As a hiring company, your role in HEC compliance is simple but critical. When you hire an intern through our platform, you must actively change their application status to "Hired". This action automatically triggers the verification log that the candidate's university relies on to track their mandatory internship requirement.
