• Proctoring Data: During assessments, we use client-side proctoring to ensure test integrity. We generate structured data flags (e.g., "no face detected", "multiple faces detected"). We do NOT record, transmit, or store any video, audio, or photographic data. All visual processing happens locally in your browser.
• Financial Data: If applicable, payment receipts and transaction references.
• Compliance Data: Data relevant to university tracking and HEC internship policy compliance.

2. How We Use and Share Your Information

We strictly limit access to your data based on your interactions on the platform:

• Companies & Hiring Teams: Companies can only view your profile data, resume, and assessment results if you actively apply to one of their specific postings. They cannot browse or access your data otherwise.
• Universities: University administrators can only view high-level placement and compliance status for students officially enrolled in their institution. They never have access to your private resumes, specific test answers, or detailed screening scores.
• RankGrad Operations: We use your data to facilitate matches, issue verified certificates, process payments, and improve our assessment algorithms.

We do not sell your personal data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

3. Data Retention and Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including Row-Level Security (RLS) on our databases and signed, temporary URLs for accessing private files like resumes and receipts. Your data is retained only for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy (such as verifying a credential you hold).

4. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. To request a full account deletion and removal of your personal data from our active systems, please contact our support team. Note that certain minimal data may be retained for legal, compliance, or fraud-prevention purposes.
